Lo Phone funding ploy phoney THE WEST Vancouver Fire Department wants North Shore residents to know that it is not currently conducting a telephone fundraising cam- paign. Assistant Chief Steve Sentes said the department has received numerous complaints from North Shore residents who have been asked for donations to the fire department over the phone. Sentes said the West Vancouver Fire Department would not raise funds in this fashion and is certain- ly not doing so now.
