Wayne Nickel has been ap- pointed executive director for Seaview Alcohol and Drug Pro- grams. Nickel has a master of social work degree from Carleton University and has professional experience in both direct service [| and in administrative posts in family and child welfare. Most recently Nickel has been providing alcohol and drug abuse counselling as wel! as teaching through the Open Learning In- stitute and at the University of B.C. This year’s board of directors of Seaview are Art Beck, Babs Black, Don Fletcher, Cynthia Lancaster, Linda McDonald, Fran McDowell, Mary MacDougall, Barry Mitchell, Anne Pearson, Mary Peck, AI Pope, Shirley Raymont and Bill Soprovich.
