CHINESE language instructor is wanted to teach basic introductory level Chinese to a group of 13 seniors. If you enjoy seniors and speak Chinese share your knowledge with this interested group. Hours are once a week for 10 weeks from April to mid-June. Afternoons are preferable. PIANO players. Here is an excellent opportunity to perform in public. A seniors’ lodge needs a piano player who can play medleys of old-time favorites, lead sing-alongs and play light classical music for bar time. If you speak English and enjoy seniors come and share your musical talents with these appreciative people. Flexible hours. INTERESTED in the arts? A cultural society needs coordinators for committee work. Duties include coordinating volunteer activities, working on newslet- ter and organizing specific activities and incentives for volunteers. If you have good communication and organizational skills call about this rewarding and challenging position. Flexible hours. Fitness instructors TEAM captains are needed to coordigate drivers for a meal delivery service, make out rdlte sheets, phone drivers and handle receipts. This is an ideal situation for couples. Hours are on a rotating basis once/six weeks. Also needed are trustworthy depen- dable DRIVERS with reliable cars to pick up and deliver meals to shut-in seniors. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday mornings. PLEASANT dependable reader with a clear loud voice is wanted to read mail and other printed mate- rial to a visually-impaired citent in home. Take ad- vantage of this opportunity to enjoy a friendly visit and perhaps share an interesting book. Reimburse- ment for mileage and meals at the CNIB are two more benefits of this entertaining opportunity. Hours are two to three per week. PATIENT English-speaking companion is needed to accompany a very pleasant elderly woman who is visually impaired, on a weekly shopping trip. A car will be very helpful and volunteer will receive mileage reimbursement as well as meals at the CNIB.
