Realty World sponsors contest

port to the British Columbia
English Teachers’ Associa-
tion’s creative writing con-
test according to Art Breyer,
Realty World - Canada’s
vice-president, Marketing
and Operations for Western
Canada.

BCETA Journal with Con-
nie Caidwell, Burnaby South
Secondary Schocl, predicts
an increase over last year’s
2,000 entries received from
1,400 students proviace-
wide.

“This is our third year
and the contest keeps getting
better,’’ he says. ‘‘We’ll be
awarding two prizes in every
category, poetry and prose,
fiction or non-fiction.”’

Grade 11 and !2 winners
will receive $75 and run-
ners-up will get $56. For
Grades 8, 9 and 10, first
