tators, and libelling South Africa
— one of Ottawa's favorite pur-
suits, if you disregard chicanery
and skulldugecry.

The Clark and Mulroney line is

NV school
gets grant

NORTH VANCOUVER > School
District, 44°5. outdoor school has
been awarded a $5,400 grant
through the Canadian Council of
Forest) Ministers’ Green Gold
Grants program.

The money will be used to fi-
nance the construction of four
covescd forestry study centres.

Funds from the program are
awarded to projects that. help in-
crease public awareness of the im-
portance of forestry to B.C.

The 26 Green Gold grants made
in what is the first of a three-year
program ranged from $100 to the
maximum: $10,000.. Non-profit
organizations must match” the
grant. amounts: through volunteer
labor or funds.

Applications for this year's
grants must be received no tater
than March 31.

Ministry of Forests and Lands or
Government Agent's office or by
writing to Green Gold Grants, Box
