mation and Volunteer Centre and
the Francescan Outreach Society,
co-organizer Kathy Dornan said
Wednesday.

Tickets for the dinner, which
features coq au vin with fresh
vegetables and rice, dre $17.50 and
are available by calling 985-7138.
And for dessert, she said, there is
home-made apple pie complete
with cream topping.

After dinner is. the auction,
which features among its 150 lots a
day-long tug boat ride around the
harbor. Newsman Tony Parsons is
one of the auctioneers.

Cooked by the inter-faith
Francescan Outreach Society, the
dinner will be served by students
from Anna Wyman's dance
school. The dinner starts at 5 p.m.
at St. Catherines Anglican Church
at 1058 Ridgewood in North Van.

Formed to reach out into the
community, the society is active in
many areas of North Shore life —
the North Shore Food Bank, Emily
Murphy House and Lions Gate
Hospital's Evergreen’ House.
