Co-ordinated by Fitness Canada, organizations across the nation are sponsoring a wide variety of events that cater to every fitness fancy and levei of ability. Like to dance? The Cana- dian Square and Round Dancing Society will launch N.P.A.W. with a Kick-Off on May 13. Join the 10,000 foiks from St. John’s ‘to Vic- toria and Point Pelee to the Yukon who’ll be swinging their partners in churches, shopping malls, street cor- ners — even on ferry boats — to prove how exercise can be fun and vice versa. We're organizing The Great PARTIC!IPaction Challenge in which the cities of Ottawa, Red Deer, Owen Sound and Weyburn have challenged other cities in their respective population ranges to turn out more citizens on May 16 to be physically active for 15 minutes or more. N.P.A.W. proved a big success in 1983 — its first year of operation. Over 6,000 ,000 Canadians in 4,500 communities took part!
