Highlanders win North
shor e Championships

FOR the second consecutive year, the
West Vancouver Highlanders won the
team title at the North Shore high
school track and field championships.
The senior boys individual aggregate was a tic
between Warren Hatch of Seycove and
Windsor’s Martin Van Der Walt. Each won three
events. The senior girls’ individual aggregate was
won by West Vancouver’s Shannon McGregor who
finished first in the high jump, tied for firse in the
400 metres and placed second in the 400m hurdles.
