Moors’ frustration at the committee’s lim-

ited progress was shared by one of its mem- -
bers, who agreed that holding a public hear-
‘ing into the development proposal would be
‘cheaper and quicker. So would directing dis-’- .

trict staff to produce a waterfront report that
could then be taken to the public. a

The ‘waterfront. committee, with a murky

time-line and a $70,000 budget, is a waste of
taxpayers’ time and money. i
