NORTH WEST Vancsuver Ringette action on the
weekend saw the Tween ‘*A’’ Hawks tie the
Aldergrove *‘A”’ Tweens 6-6.

The action-packed game suw Evin Bell and Kelly
Moore each score goals while Katie Mayrs in goal put
on a strong show, as did the defence led by Jenny
Eustice.

The Petite “‘“B' Tigers sought their revenge against
Richmond by defeating them 10-8.

A cight-goal explosion by Kristen Dowling and two
goals by Alison Boyd racked up the iC points for the
Tigers.

Naomi Kojima kept the Richmond team at bay.

The Petite ‘‘A*’ Lions, led by strong goaltending by
Keri Jesson and defence by Carrie McKellar, defeated
the Poco Petite *A™ team 8-6.

A hat trick by Michelle Keast and goals and assists
by Lisa Demeule led the Lions to the win. A strong
effort by Joanna Weiler helped contain the Poco Op-
pesition.

Rounding out the weekend action, the Belle “B”
Blades defeated the Delta Devils 8-3.

Hat tricks by both Nicole Miller and Lea McLean,
and eatra effort by the defence led by Charlene
Witson and Diane Reitzner, supported the win.
