Marlins win at Viking meet NORTH SHORE Winter Club Marlins Swim Team will host their 13th Annual Invitational A Swim meet on the weekend of June 23 and 24. Thirteen clubs are ex- pected to attend this meet coming from throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and the Interior. An estimated 450 swim- mers will compete in free style, breast stroke, back stroke, fly, individual medley, and relay events. There will be a total of close to 2,000 entries in the 108 scheduled events. Heats will commence at 8:00 a.m. and finals at approximately 3 p-m. on both days. Visitors are welcome at the North Shore Winter Club Pool, with no admission charge. Marlins attended the Co- quitlam B swim meet last weekend where the team had an excellent performance, with many swimmers making A times. Those making finals were: Div.1!
