Cap overtook midway
through and led 24-18 at the
half. In the second half, it
was all Capilano as they held
Malaspina to only 6 points in
the 2nd. Capilano won it
73-24.

Brenda Geisbrecht had 18
points, Jewel Klassen tallied
10 rebounds, for Capilano,
who play in Kamloops next

86-49. The powerful one-two
combination of Pino Perovic
outside and Mark Marter in-
side proved too much for the
Nanaimo school’s defence.
Cap led 48-26 at the half ina
game they never trailed.
Mark Marter held the way
with 27 points, 18 rebounds,
Pino Perovic had 22 points.
