The board chose to ignore the parents and other dissatis- fied consutuent groups, and he received another term. Enough ts enough. We need a new superintendent who can put District 45 back on the road to academic excellence. Peter Buitenhuis, PhD West Vancouver aiways better Dear Editor: For the second vear in a row, Delany's in ilage won out over Starbucks in ltord as being the favoured coffee shop, according to the recent North Shore News Readers’ Choice survey. Its hard to imagine that a village can out- draw a mall that has a huge parking lot and the drawing power of two businesses such as Save-On- Foods and the Cineplex theatres to feed the frenzied shoppers of entertainment and food. North Vancouver District council's ability to listen to the developers’ need for monster homes and the concerns of current owners of “small” homes makes me wonder how they would vote if a bigger, newer mall was need- ed somewhere else on the North Shore. Bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better.
