By Layne Christensen Fashion Editor The three-day festival commem- orates 1996, the “Year of the Rat.” Alongside the more traditional components of the festival — cere- monial tea room, dragon and lion dances, martial arts demonstrations and Chinese food displays —- will be such stylish additions as beauty make-overs, a market fair and fash- ion show. The Bay will set up shop on the old Expo grounds, with a temporary site that will stock cosmetics, fra- grances and lingerie. Cosmetics consultants will shire makeup tips and demonstrate new looks. Revlon will bring its “lipstick factory” to the site, to demonstrate how lipstick is made. Silver jewelry, footwear, cloth- ing will be among items for sale in the market fair.
