. community sips steaming ‘hot chocolate, hot wine (non-alecholic), and . M

*. shares a bag of roasted chestnuts available for purchase. “We know this
event has kindled the spirit of Christmas, something the North Shore
has longed to see return?” says Klaus Fuerniss, owner of Peppi's. “A must-see
Christmas display during th the Christmas holidays.”

Judging of the best decorated tree is expected x0 be difficat: z- spon-
sors are using great imagination decorating their trees in company theres.
“Ir's nice to see someone doing something for community spiric. It's what
Christmas is all about,” Jim Teat, Jim Pattison Toyota remarked. Mark
‘Termes, representing W; Estate Wines, says “It's an excellent event
to bring people together, You take on the challenge to do it right, and
everyone pitches in to make it happen.”

On the panel are Parti Leigh, president of the Dundarave Business

~ Association and owner of Casual Elegance, Klaus Priebe, partner at
Richards Buell Sutton and Consul for Luxemburg, David Mitchell, MLA,

- Social Reporter Joy Metcalfe and Klaus Fuerniss, Owner/Manager of

Peppi's.
Deserving of appreciation are Save-On-Foods for generously donating

_ all the trees, and Imperial Parking president Paul Clough for letting his
team go to work on the sponsor board, doing a sensational job on design

and creation.
The Christmas lights are in full colour nightly from December 8
to January 2, 4 p.m. to midnight, on Dundarave Beach, West Vancouver.
