family and life-long resident of
North Vancouver. Predeceased
by her brothers William in 1974

her loving husband Albert and

and Rose Plumbe; sister-in-law

CRIMP - Harold, at Haro Park
Centre on November 11, 1989, at
the age of 87. A jong time resi-
dent of West Vancouver. During
the period of the Second Worid
War, Mr. Crimp was the co-or-
dinator of Civil Defence for West
Vancouver. He was a member of
the West Vancouver School
Board and a long time member of
the West Vancouver Lions Club.
Harold was the manager of the
West Van. Safeway during the
Second World War. Mr. Crimp
was a former vice-president of
Kelty Douglas 2°.i he cemained
very active we' into his later
years. Survived this toving wife
Gwen; son Kenneth and his wite
June; 2 daughters, Trudy and her
husband John Weins, and Judy; 6
grandchildren;- and 5 great-
Qgrandchitdren. A memorial ser-
vice on Thursday, November 16

at 2 pm. in St. Paui’s Anglican
Church, 1130 Jervis St. Van-

CHAMBERLAIN ~ Lillian C.
passed away al West Vancouver
on November 11, 1989. Mrs.
Chamberlain was born in Kes-
wick Ridge, N.B. on May 10, 1899
and in 1912 moved to 5.C. with
her family. Predeceased by hus-
band, Edward R.D. Chamberlain.
Mrs, Chamberlain was a Teacher
at Lonsdale and Keithlynn
Schools in North Vancouver. She
was a past President of Victorian
Order of Nurses and a Charter
Member of the Lions Gate Hospi-
tal Women's Auxillary. A_ past
member of the Red Cross Socie-
ty, The Canadian Council of
Women, The Siiver Harbour
Manor, The Burrard Yacht Club,
The Scottish Country Dancing
Society and a member of the
Fairview Baptist Church. Surviv-
ed by daughters, Margaret and
her husband Victor Edwards,
Mary and her husband James
Mann, 8 grandchildren and 6
great-grandchildren: sisters Julia,
Alice and Margaret Estey. Memo-
tial service on Wednesday, Nov-
ember 15 at 2 p.m. in the Boal
Chapel of FIRST MEMORIAL

VAN LAAA - Bruce, died sud-
denly at hame on Nov. 6, 1989,
age 68. A resident of Lynn Valley
since 1932, Bruce will be fondly
remembered by many friends and
neighbours. Lovingly missed by
his wife Muriel, daughters Susan
and Pat and their husbands Les
and Andy, grandchildren Peter
and Barbara. A memorial service
for Bruce was held on Nov. 19,
1989. The family give sincere
thanks for all the comlart and
kindness shown to us.
