seven-man Table Hopping. posse
was -dispatched to Loops at..the
Lonsdale Quay Hotel. ©

- Thus far, the hotel’s: main Tes-,
taurant has been quietly packing in

the eating public on the strength of

glamorous surroundings and the

novelty of being the new restaurant

on the block.

($7.95) to Pecan Chicken ($10.95).

served in a rich curry cream sauce

fresh berries and a full-throated
mango chutney.

For resident chocoholics, Loops -
sets aside a complete chocolate -

chapter. The Black. and White
($3.95), a chocolate mousse deco-
tated with shavings of white and

dark chocolate, was judged best of

a decadent bunch. ;

Also available for post-dinner
refreshment are several vintage
ports and other dessert’ wines such
as the delicious Quadys Essensia
and Elysium ($3.75).
