And this time they did with a large helping hand for a number of residents of the Lynn Valley area. The Lynn Valley residents did their part when they began flooding the RCMP office with calls to report three youths prowling through their yards and knocking on doors Sunday night. Police were already in the area, responding to an audible alarm that had been set off when someone at- tempted to break into a res- idence. Thanks to the telephone calls, police were able to track down the three juve- niles and take them into custody. The three had escaped from the Lower Mainland Correctional Centre the day before.
