Argyle winners
in senior soccer

ARGYLE SWEPT the first half of the semior high
school boys’ soccer season, leading the pack with

six wins and no losses.

The top four teams in the
first six games of the season
advance to the A division,
while the bottom three teams
are relegated to the B divi-
sion. B division teams are no
longer eligible for the North
Shore or B.C. champron-
ships.

The other teams that made
it to the A division are Wind-
sor (4 wins, 1! loss, | te),
Sutherland (4 wins, 2 losses):
and Carson Graham (3 wins,
3 losses). Howe Sound (1
win, 3 losses, 2 ties); Seycove
(1 win, 4 losses, | tie); and
West Vancouver (0 wins, 6
losses) are in the B division.

On the last day of the first
half of the season, Argyle
beat Windsor 2-1, with Gary
Cook and Darren Garbutt
sconng. Carson Graham shut
out Howe Sound 3-0 (Sean
Taylor had ! goal, Peter
Stles 2); and Seycove beat
West Vancouver 2-0 on goals
by Todd Collinge and Brad
Chapman.
