Marnie Jamieson, aged.17, a former student of Ridgeway and Cedarvale schools went missing August 7 while hitch-hiking home to Gibsons from Sechelt. Searchers found her body on a logging road in the Sechelt area Saturday and police are treating the death as murder. She had lived m West Vancouver until about five years ago when her family moved to Gibsons. A memorial service is to be held at Gibsons Funeral Home tomorrow (Thursday) at 2:30 p.m. Her family has requested donations to be sent to the Search and Rescue at Gibsons Landing or to the Beachcombers Vobeyball Association, in ficu of flowers.
