So the best news of the week is
that there’s definitely going to be a
sequel! Bob, again named as co-
producer and production manager,
confirms that, after months of
tough bargaining, Tri-Star and
Jonathon Crane have signed the
deal for Look Who’s Talking II.

Director Amy Heckerling, who
was in town for a couple of days
last week, will have her crew in
North Vancouver for 10 weeks
about mid-June, shooting at the
thriving North Shore Film Studios.
Then they'll move on and do one
week in New York, just as they did
in the original.

The same winning cast of Kirsty
(Cheers!) Alley, John Travolta,
George Segal and Olympia
Dukakis will recreate their roles.

The other news is that Mikey
will have a litle sister. So now
there’ll have to be a new celebrity
voice — and a new search for

babies!...

lady Ingrid McDougall is on a
location hunt for special houses
for special people.

assignment of finding required

he was shooting the two-hour TV
movie, Higher Ground, on Bunt-
zen Lake. That film co-starred the
beauteous Jane MacDougall, wife
of talent agent, Bruce Allen.

Ingrid also leased Harvey
Southam's home just off The
Crescent for Goldie Hawn and her
two children, and for Mel Gibson
and his wife and their five kids.

Mel Gibson and Goldie were
co-starring in the adventure flick,
Bird on a Wire. Other celebs that
she’s house-hunted for are Aane
Archer, Ted Danson, and L.A.
Law's real-life married Michael
Tucker and Jill Eikenberry.

Rather an early hour for bub-
bly-swilling, but it was a very
pleasant champagne reception last
Tuesday morning at the Raintree
Restaurant on Alberni when three
outstanding graduates of the Pro-
fessional Culinary Program at the
Pierre Dubrulle Culinary School
were recognized and applauded for
their dynamic and innovative con-
tributions to the food industry.

These Awards of Excellence
were presented by the founder and
president of the school, West Van-
couver’s so-chic Diana Becker to
Brian Fedor, the newly-appointed
chef at Al Porto, Chef Rebecca
Dawson of the Raintree and West
Van's Judith Knight, formerly of
Bishop’s restaurant.
