Retiring WV Parks director
intends to remain active

THE MAN whose name has been
synonymous with West Vancouver
Parks and Recreation is retiring as
director of that department this
month.

Frank Kurucz, who has been
with West Vancouver District for

the past 15 years, won’t stop the
lifelong habits that keep him look-
ing much younger than his 60
years, however.

He’ll still be jogging some five
days a week, along with his swim-
ming and weight training activities.
