Kevin Gillies SPOTLIGHT FEATURE Such is the case at North Vancouver's recently opened Boneyard Studios where Barney Bentall guitarist Colin Nairme sits at the helm of the control room for an up-and-coming North Vancouver band. The studio was built exclusive- ly for Barney Bentali and the Legendary Hearts (BBL) to rehearse and record. When the building they were using in Vancouver was slated for demolition, the band had te find a new venue. Boneyard is three months old and “98.2% com- plete.” Nairne said the new studio’s name was derived from the BBLH song Farewell to the Boneyard. “While we were building the studio 1 just thought that would be a great name for it....
