Boris Ritchie was fined $200 and placed on probation for three months after the 40-year-old North Vancouver man pleaded guilty to using a cheque that he knew was forged. The charge was laid against him in connection with an Aug. 17, 1988 incident. Siamak Esfahani received a conditional discharge and was placed on probation for nine months after the 31-year-old man of no fixed address was found guilty of theft under $1,000 in conzection with a June 12 incident in which food was stolen from the 7-Eleven store at Third Strect and Chesterfield Avenue.
