in 1980 with 23 teams, the Labatt’s
Lite 24 Hour Relay has raised close
to $3 million for B.C.’s disabled
children. :

average of 192 miles, with top
distance award going to the Cen-
tipedes who ran 240 miles. Top
money raised by a team went to
7-Eleven for the second year in a
row. Through pledges and bulk
donations, the people from = 7-

Eleven raised $39,089.

Top money raised in the four
divisions: Fitness-Trailblazers,
$17,040; Media- Vancouver Courier
Fund Runners, $9,777; Occupa-
tional A Team, $17,478; Cor-
porate: 7-Eleven.
