VE IS getting steadify colder and winter is returning to the
North Shore. Soon it will start to snow. With the snow
will come joyous cries or resigned groans, depending on
the person's views on winter. For some, winter means

snow tires, antifreeze and cars sliding down ice-covered

hills. Others view winter with jubilation, as they dust off
their skis and head for the slopes. But everybody, no
matter how much they dislike the snow, has a favorite
winter activity, This week, Inquiring Reporter asks peo-
ple about their favorite winter pustimies.
