1-1/2 ¢, all-purpose Nour

2/3 c. sugar

2-178 t. baking powder

12 t. salt

1/2. uncooked oats (quick or
old-fashioned}

2 eggs. beaten

1:3 c. melted shortening or
salad oil

c. ripe bananas, mashed

Sprinkle blueberries with 2
tsps. flour. Sift together the
remaining four, sugar, baking
powder, and salt. Stir in oats.
Combine eggs, shertening, and
bananas; add to dry ingre-
dients, stirring until just com-
bined. Add the blueberries; stir
just enough to distribute them
evenly throughout the batter.
Pour batter into greased and
floured 8x5” loaf pan. Bake at
350° for about I hour. Let cool
completely, Wrap bread and
store 24 hours before slicing.
Can be frozen.
