Dear Editor:

In response to your invita-
tion to readers asking their
opinion of your paper.

I have lived and worked in
many areas and find our
Jocal paper is the best. !
think it's because your col-
umnists are so down to
earth. There is Bob Hunter
{a family man), Barbara
McCreadie with her excellent
recipes and her stories
regarding travelling, her
husband, Brian. I feel J
know her family.

Then there’s Doug Col-
lins, the man you love to
hate. He writes some terrific
columns and he certainly has
the courage of his convic-
tions. However, I’ do feel he
is anti-semitic and his last
swipe at the greedy senior
citizens angered me — [ am
one and a single one to boot
— it is the single woman that
is hit hardest and I don’t get
a company pension.

I enjoyed Noel Wright’s
stories of 100 Mile House —
Emissaries of Divine Light.
A friend and [I had a guided
tour of the commune and he
was shocked at the expensive
equipment (including cam-
eras) lying around on the
floor.
