Pacific Rim women studied

THE CANADIAN Interna-
tional Development Agency
(CIDA) will provide $170,782
to help the Canadian Federa-
tion of University Women
(CFUW) to carry out a study
seminar on women and
Management with business
and professional women from
the Pacific Rim countries.

The grant was announced
last month on behalf of Exter-
nal Relations Minister Moni-
que Vezina, Minister respon-
sible for CIDA, by Mary Col-
lins, MP for Capilano.

The CFUW-Asia-Canada
Women and Management
Seminar, to be held in Van-
couver June 22-26, will bring
together Canadian and Asian
women to exchange views and
ideas on their mutual concems
and problems in the areas of
business, management and
entrepreneurship.
