It is essential that such communication should be a two-way street. ‘*People must have the op- portunity to express their opi- nions directly to their representative,’’ he added. ‘This is why I will schedule regular meetings at conve- nient times and locations in Capilano.”’ In commenting on his strength of leadership and ex- perience, Brousson pointed to his record of fighting for his constituents and promised he would continue this as an M.P. Other items promised in- cluded a regular newsletter, eontinuing constituency of- fice to provide personal ser- vice and information and use of referendum-style question- naires on items of special in- terest and situations affecting large numbers of the public.
