North Shore.

The band. is Schiehallion..
(from the Gaelic Sidh - chail
- lion, Caledonia’s Hill), and
its music has sold well even
in Scotland, where its two
records have been played on
the BBC.

Schiehallion has been in
constant demand at Scottish —
country dance functions
since the group was founded
in 1975, says Ian Price, a
founding member of the
group. And, with the only
other North American bands
in Los Angeles and Toronto,
‘they play at dances from
Winnipeg to San Francisco,
