Sales of commercial vehicles were off 5.3 percent to 24,080. However, sales of passenger cars manufac- tured overseas rose 61 percent from a year earlier and sales of foreign com- mercial vehicles was up 108 percent to 1,404. The total sales value of $768.4 million was up 13.8 percent over January 1979.
