Hostelling not
_ just for the young

As the International Youth
Hostel Federation approach-
es its 50th anniversary, the
organization is faced with an
image problem! Most people
still think that you have to be
young in order to use a hostel
and that we only have hostels
in Europe. Not true!

The IYHF has a network of
over 4,500 hostels in more
than 60 countries. In recent
years there has been consi-
derable expansion, most
notably in Japan, Australia,
New Zealand and Asia.

marily used by young people,
