Before Judge Jerome Paradis on July 14, 1999: Spencer Bossert, 21, of North Vancouver, was fined $350 after he pleaded guilty to breaching probation by failing to go to drug or alco- hol counselling or treatment as directed by his probation officer. The jail sentence was rec- ommended served by house asrest. Before Judge Doug Moss on July 14, 1999: John George Archibal Hazeldine, 64, of West Vancouver, was fined $300 after he pleaded not guilty to impaired driving, but instead pleaded guilty to the lesser or included offence of driving without consideration. The original — charge stemmed from a June 26, 1998 incident in West Vancouver. Before Judge Bill Rodgers on July 14, 1999: Mary-Ann Azak, 41, of Vancouver, was jailed 14 days and received 12 months’ probation after she pleaded guilty to stealing merchar- dise belonging to Save-On- Foods on Oct. 10, 1998.
