Playing on the artificial turf fields at Livingstone Park in Vancouver, the Eagles -moved on to the champi- onship round after finishing in second place in the tcurna- ment round robin. In round robin play, Carson bianked Killarney 3- nil, outplayed Victoria’s Spectrum 4-1, and lost to eventual runners-up Centennial, of Coquitlam, 2- 0. In that game, the Centaurs scored both their markers in the last 10 minutes of the game. In championship round action, the Eagles shutout Surrey’s Tamanawis (2-0) and Burnaby North (3-0).
