“| did the soundtrack to the
Nettie Wild documentary
Blockade, her second major
documentary. !t was a guitar
score.

“It was a whole other line of
work. ! was freed from writing
lyrics, which was neat. And }
also got to try different things,
mourntul slide, pretty stuff,
bluegrass, heavy stuff. | never
played so much guitar in my
life. It was really good and |
think a few of those ideas will
emerge on my next solo
album,” he said.

The feedback he received
from his most recent solo effort,
The Human Kind, resulted in an
upcoming acoustic revisitation
of the Bim past.

“1 booked three days in the
studio this summer — | went to
Creation this time — Bill came
and co-produced, and in three
