UESTION: Did you know you can wallpaper over the top of wood

grain paneling?

NSWER: Vee-grooved wood paneling can be
é used as backing of wallpaper by following
these instructions. First, wash the paneling with tsp
wash, Rinse with clear water & allow to dry. Apply a
coat of white wood glue to all vee joints and seams,
as well as any nail holes. When dry apply a coat of
light weight spackling compound with a 4” spackling
knife, no sanding required. After allowing to dry
apply roller coat of all purpose Alkyd primer. Now
you're ready for wallpaper sizing. Now, wasn't that

easy?
