tree chip up

TO ASSIST the North Shore
municipalities with holiday clean-
up and to help raise money for
community projects, the North
and West Vancouver Lions Clubs
will hold their annual Christmas
Tree Chip-Up.

Get rid of your old Christynas
tree on Sunday, Jan. 7 between 10
a.m. and 3 p.m.

In North Vancouver, the Lions
will operate from Village Texaco,
3089 Edgemont Blvd.; the North
Shore Credit Union, 1080 Marine
Dr.; and the North Shore Winter
Club, foot of Mountain Highway.

The West Vancouver Christmas
tree chip-up will be held at
Aunbleside Park.

The Lions give special thanks to
the Tree People who are supplying
their time and equipment free of
charge.
