THE MAN killed in a fiery
three car crash on the Upper
Levels highway early
Saturday morning has finally
been identified.

West Vancouver police
said the dead man _ was
Vancouver resident David
Graham McFarlane. The 26
year old man was identified

McFarlane was reportedly
driving a stolen vehicle.

A second man injured in
the accident, Eric Annett of
West Vancouver, is listed in
stable condition in Lions
Gate Hospital after suffering
multiple fractures.

The accident occurred

when McFarlane, in a 1973
Austin Mini travelling
eastbound in the westbound
land, collided head-on with
Annett’s 1980 Volvo.

A third man involved in
the collision , Peter Merler
of West Vancouver, escaped
serious injury. His 1969
Firebird was behind Annett’s
Volvo at the time of impact.

TWO MEN were charged
with four counts of robbery
yesterday after being ap-
prehended by Vancouver
City Police in the vicinity of
the Super Valu store at 17th
and Lonsdale in North

Vancouver Tuesday.

Robert Joseph Bourassa,
27, and Charles Clifford
Desaulnier, 32, both of no
fixed address, were charged
in connection with a robbery
at the Bank of Nova Scotia
at 49th and Elhott.

An imitation weapon was
found on the men at the time
of apprehension. Police are
sull investigating and other
charges may be pending.

Bourassa had also been
wanted for violation of
parole for robbery.

the open doet of a vehicle.

A 19 year old girl was
cycling westbound in the
1300 block Marine Drive
Wednesday at 9:55 a.m.
when she ran into the open
door of a car parked in a
westbound direction.
