For almost two years they have virtually terronzed the whole area, screeching up and down Tobruck Avenue, and around 16th and 17th Streets, on extremely noisy motorcycles. It would seem that at least one of those machines perhaps more, has no muffler, and as you can appreciate, the resulting noise and backfinng are intolerable. (We are forced Thanks to all N. There are usually ap- proximately four bikers, at any given time; however, on numerous occasions, par- ticularly Sunday afternoons, we have counted up to 10 motorcycles on and around your property at 913 Tobruck Avenue. We have also witnessed as many as six bikers speeding down Tobruck Avenue — abreast! Your tenants, at this ime of year, are always bare chested, showing off their many tattoos. Their hair is shoulder length and un- washed and they wear Nazi helmets, sport Nazi medals and are always clad in greasy leather. They congregate on your property, in large numbers, drinking beer and shouting obscenities at passers-by. They have also yelled profanities at home- owners in the area who, while parking or turning their cars, have impeded the gang's progress down our narrow street. It's a miracle that someone hasn't been seriously injured or even killed by their dangerous acuons. Their belligerant, ugly presence has shattered the peace of this once quiet area, where a great many residents are senior citizens. We feel that we have been very patient, subscribing, as we have, to a live and let live attitude for almost’ two years. We hoped that the situation would improve with time, which demon- Strates, all too clearly, just how naive we were. Now we have reached, proverbially speaking, the end of our rope and do not intend to suffer in suence any longer! As you will notice, from the enclosed copy of our letter to the North Shore. News, we choose, fearing reprisals, to remain anonymous, at the present time. We hope that a full scale petition and = subsequent legal action will not be necessary.
