glary.

In September
1997, the 23-vear
old North Vaneou-
ver man began serv-
ing a two-vear-
three-month jail
sentence. Picken was jailed
after being convicted of com-
mitting break, enter and theft:
using forged documents, pos-
sessing house-breaking instru-
ments; and theft. About. sis
months into his jail sentence,
Pickerill was allowed to leave
prison and five in a Lower
Mainland halfvay house thar is
close to the North Shore.
