Cypress trails still off-limits

CYPRESS Bow! _ bears
have been allowed to
roam in peace for three
weeks.

On June 27, B.C. Parks
closed the area in West Van’s
Cypress Provincial Park to

to anyone working or playing
outdoors.

One person has died and

attacks in the province this

On the North Shore this

year, four beurs have been
relocated after being caught
in the British Propertics. One
bear was killed near Larson
school in North Vancouver.
Another bear, caught under
the Second Narrows Bridge,
was relocated.

On Tuesday, a iwo-year-
old bear eluded capture after
he was hit with a tranquilizer
dart near Alpine Court in
Upper Delbrook.
