Shore Continuing Education will

offer 17 different
workshops for adults.

Entrepreneurs and those in the
business world will be able to at-
tend classes on Identifying
Business Opportunities, Pres-
entation Skills, Computer Con-
fidence on the IBM, Earning Ex-
tra Money on Your Home Com-
puter and a new class on memory
training called Mind Mapping.

Of interest to thase who enjoy
crafts are classes in Leather
Jewellery, Dried Flower Topiary
and a sewing class for beginners
called Sewing Made Easy.

New cooking ideas for summer
will be given by cooking instructor
Romy Reimann in The 60 Minute
Summer Gourmet.

Dancers can enrol! in the
Ballroom and Latin Dance class
and the aerobic dance workout
class, Hip Hop given by Jill
Bailey.

For those with an interest in
money matters, Eleanor Corvin's
class titled Personal Financial
Management and Jennifer Orum’s
half-day class called How to Ac-
cess Financial Aid Programs to
Pay for College and University,
will be both timely and infor-
mative.

Helen Dunbar’s presentation on
Immigrating to the U.S.A. The
instructor will answer questions
about immigration procedures and
conducting business in the United

Storytellers in the family may
want to join the Story Develop-
ment class with instructor Diane

panis to develop their favorite
stories for children.

She will help students with their
technique as well as helping them
to prepare their manuscript for il-
lustrations.

Health and safety conscious
people are invited to join two
full-day workshops in Emergency
First Aid and Flow Line Massage.

The Flow Line class will use
Shiatsu techniques which include
intuitive massage, neck and
shoulder tension relief, pressure
points, breathing exercises,
energy-expanding and energy
balancing.

All workshops will be held at
the Lucas Centre, 2132 Hamilton
Ave. in North Vancouver and
those that run the full day will in-
clude lunch in the fee.
