According to a recent study by [CBC researcher Dr. Peter Rothe, seniors do their best to avoid potential accident situations. To this end they try not to drive at night, avoid rush-hour traffic and ap- proach intersections cautiously. But their driving record is stil almost as bad as that of high-risk young drivers. Should seniors take mandatory road tests? Rothe recommends seniors only be limited in their driving on medical grounds, rather than be forced to take road tests.
