Health Care Service Providers Gather to

Discuss Representation

More than 150 health care service
providers attended meetings held
Thursday, April 25th and Saturday,
April 27th to discuss a process by
which representatives will be selected
for the new Health Care Service
Providers’ Advisory Committee
(HCSPAC) to the North Shore Health
Board (NSHB). This seventeen
member committee will provide...
advice to the NSHB to assist with
decision making and policy

development, as well as provide input '
and direction regarding any changes ~

that may result as part of the
regionalization process.

“This is the service providers’

opportunity to participate directly in
the planning of health services in our

‘region, and the process by which

representatives are selected is key to
ensuring that all health care service
providers are involved and
represented.” said Dr. Inge
Schamborzki, CEO of the North
Shore Health Board, during her.
opening remarks at the meetings.
