Opening night, the cast was dis-
covering the joys and pitfalls of play-

seemed ridiculously fast in rehearsal
could go faster yet.

with a ,virtuoso performance from
John -Paul Winslow's Scapino!, a
knock-out (literally) performance

point is established there is much less
of a journcy for the three to face.

Kim Charlton's Lenny comes
closest to the truth in a mature and
consistent performance.

That said, Henley’s play neverthe-
less gathers'a comic life of its own as
catastrophes pile up on top of outra-
geous incidents.

And a quick plug for the design
team of Tara Kobewka, Jean Taylor
and Jim Hebb. Another success in an
area with which many community
groups have. difficulty. To April 1.
