make them think about

entirely ditferent perspectives
to the mix and in concert the
women back up each other in
turn. “Kinnie uses real simple
language that you can imme-
diately understand what she’s
saying — kind of like Lauren

know exactly what she’s talk-
ing about and there still is
this tremendous poetry in the
language. Veda’s a lot more
esoteric, dreamy or surreal —
a lot of ime I don’t under-
stand what she’s talking
about, but emotionally Ido

about. As for me I’m a little
more in the narrative vein
