The directors are: Sue Allén, president, Gloria Baker-Brown, vice-president, Laura Yousif, sec- retary, Sandi Paxin, treasurer, and Kathlyn Inman, maintenance director. During the new year the society will continue to work towards providing quality child care in an extension of the home atmosphere. Goals include making the posi- tion of the society in the communi- ty more visible. Maplewood Child Care Society is a non-profit organization and all donations to the society are tax deductible. Rowlands delivers our W-e?-esday and Friday News in the Dundarave area of Yu'esi Yancouver. The service she provides is excellent and we are pleased to have her as our star carrier this week. Kirsten is 11 yeas old and a student at Hillside School where she is in grade 7. Her favourite subject is art. School sports include volleyball and basketball. Kirsten loves skiing and is hoping for lots of snow this year so she can spend all her spare time on the slopes. Having a News route has helped her to save and purchase new ski equipment. For being our star this week Kirsten received, complimen- tary movie passes, a North Shore News baseball cap and a special thanks for a job very well done.
