BEFORE they went their sepa-
rate ways, the Buffalo crew
were an amazing group who
changed the look of fashion
images. At the centre of the
group was Ray Petri, whose
vision they all responded to.
From the early °80s to his death in
1989, Petri created a new role in the
fashion industry — that of the stylist.
Working with photographers, makeup
artists and designers, Petri wove their
talents together with his own ideas.
