Busted

AN accident on the corner of Lonsdale and 2nd Street briefly blocked traffic along the busy thoroughfare last
Friday evening. According to North Vancouver RCMP files the driver of the pick-up truck failed to stop at a
stop sign and proceeded on to Lonsdale Avenue where the oncoming bus was unable to stop in time. The dri-
ver of the pick-up suffered minor injuries and is being investigated for driving under the influence. The two
vehicles sustained more than $8,000 damage.
